Quick Creations DT: Gorjuss and Cottage Cutz

January 13th, 2017

Quick Creations Design Team:
Gorjuss and Cottage Cutz

Ok, I don't know what the weather's like where you are, but it's is super cold here tonight, lol.  It is supposed to be -44 degrees Celsius here in the morning, and for my American friends, that's -47.2 degrees Fahrenheit!  Crazy right?

Anyways, enough of my complaining, lol...on to the fun stuff.  I have created a card for you featuring Santoro's Gorjuss line, Santoro's Mirabelle line, Spectrum Sparkle, Nuvo Crystal Drops and Cottage Cutz dies.

I colored this Gorjuss girl using my watercolor markers and layered her with paper from the Santoro/Mirabelle Mirabelle 2 paper collection.  I die cut the Cottage Cutz Victorian Butterfly Flourish out of the same paper and covered it with a Spectrum Sparkle pen.  I popped the image and the butterfly on dimensional adhesives and added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Raspberry Pink to the corners of the image panel.

You can find all of the linked products in the online shop at Quick Creations.  Some of these exact products (such as the Gorjuss Heartfelt Stamp) have already sold out, so I will link to the list of Gorjuss products still available in the store.  Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!

Quick Creations DT: CC Designs and Kasiercraft

January 12th, 2017

Quick Creations Design Team:
CC Designs and Kaisercraft

Hello everyone, DT Leah here to share 3 cards I made using the same stamp set and ribbon, along with matching paper on the first card :)
I used the CC Designs "Under the Sea" stamp set to create all three cards, and added ribbon from the Kaisercraft "Rock Pool" collection on all three cards and paper from the same collection on the first.

All of the images were water colored on cold-press water color paper using my water color markers.

Most of the images are popped up on dimensional adhesives, as well as the front panels of the second and third cards.

The sentiments in this set are so sweet.  I wanted to make sure I could use as many of the images from the set as I could:)

All of the linked products are available in the Quick Creations online shop, but products are selling out, and since Noelle is closing shop, she won't be re-ordering anything!  So if you would like to get your hands on any of these fun products, hurry on over!

See you soon :)

Quick Creations House Mouse Smell the Roses

DT Melanie here with you today to share a House Mouse stamp called "Smell the Roses" I used one of my favorite color combo's on this card, pink & green.

I have used Bo Bunny's “Soiree” 6” x 6” paper along with LDRS Creative dies and lots of embellishments from my stash.

Here is a close up of my coloring. I just love coloring House Mouse stamps because the artist has guided you on where the shadows should be which makes for easier shading.

I hope you are having  happy January. Head on over to my blog at www.fairystampland.com to view more of my work.

The Greeting Farm "Trust in the Lord"

Hi There,

Today I am sharing with you a really special card made using this beautiful stamp set called "Trust in the Lord" by The Greeting Farm.

This stamp set will be perfect for bible journaling. That is another world that I would like to visit soon. So far all I have done is "collect" items that would be good to use in your bible.

For this card I have colored the stamp with Copic markers and I have used Kaisercraft “Cottage Rose” 6.5” Paper. I even used it for the blossoms. I just loved the way it turned out.

Thank you for starting the New Year off with us here at Quick Creations. I hope your year is a crafty one.

Quick Creations GDT: Happy Birthday!

Hi friends!

JoAnn from JoBoogie Stamping here with another new card I created as a guest design team member for Quick Creations!

For my card today I used "Cupcake Avery" from The Paper Nest Dolls!

I totally kept it simple and decided to create a square card. Sometimes you just have to step out of the "rectangular box", don't you think? :)

I colored her up with my Copics and paired her up with some My Mind's Eye "Hooray" paper.

Isn't Avery so cute?!

Copics used:
skin: E000, E00, E11
hair: C3, C5, C7, C9
dress: B57, B23, B10, B13, B15, R27
cupcake: E37, E35, R81, R83, R85, YR15

And I just love having birthday cards on hand, too. :) She's so perfect for, not only little kids, but big kids and adults too!

Be sure to pick up your own Cupcake Avery HERE. She's totally a keeper for your stamp stash collection. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out my blog for more fun and inspirational projects like this one! Have a wonderful week and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Magnolia Card

It is bittersweet sharing my last DT card here for Quick Creations. It has been a pleasure working with this great DT and owner, Noelle, for nearly 2 years.  Wishing everyone a Happy New Years and best fortunes in wherever comes your way.

Today's card showcases one of my favorite companies, Magnolia.  This adorable image is called "Up Up and Away".  As usual, I colored the image with my Copics.  I paired the image with the lovely paper collection by Simply Creative called Flower Girl.

As the store is closing, there is a great sale going on right now.

Magnolia's Snowy Tilda With Presents

Hello Crafty Friends,

DT Melanie here with a winter card for you today. Quick Creations is having a huge sale going on right now so make sure not to miss it.

For my project today I have colored up Snowy Tilda with Gifts by Magnolia Stamps. Magnolia stamps was the very first stamps I purchased to learn Copic coloring with so they are near and dear to my heart.

I have used CC Design's Snowy Day paper collection along with trim and Stamped/punched snowflakes with added rhinestones. My coloring medium is Copic Markers and I added stippling all around her in cool greys to give a 'snowy feel' to the piece. Have an amazing day everyone & stay warm!
